App doesn't work

The treadmill itself is nice enough, but the app doesn't work. Also, be aware that they hide reviews under some threshold of stars - my original review did not show up. The treadmill works well, and the desk integration works well, but if you want to track your steps using your phone you may run into issues signing up. Because this happens first in the app process it makes the app not work at all.

Good luck tracking your steps

The treadmill is fine, but the app won't let you sign up for an account. It errors during the sign up process and won't let you proceed which means it's impossible to track your steps using your android phone.

Treadmill and Omni Screen are great, app is terrible

The treadmill is really quiet, feels super high quality, and the main control unit is great. I can't figure out how to set the time, and for some reason when I connect bluetooth it doesn't sync.

The app is really quite awful, however. I've basically chosen not to use it at all, it really doesn't work. The sync to Google Fit is apparently manual, and it doesn't even work. It doesn't auto-connect to the treadmill when it's on to auto sync steps and miles, and the readout on the app never matches the screen as far as miles is concerned.

This does not impact my feeling about the treadmill, it is a great quality and nice unit and it deserves 5 stars. I just think they really need to invest into better software people, or give up entirely on the attempt. It's incredibly disappointing.

Invest in Yourself - It's Worth It!

I cannot speak highly enough about this treadmill. I walk ~10 miles a day on mine at work. In the past several months of having it, I have seen my focus improve (I'm someone who excels at brain focus when my body has something to do, too), my posture improve, my aches and pains disappear (no more back and neck and hip trouble!), and it is an INCREDIBLE time hack for getting steps/movement/exercise into my days. (Additionally, for me, it has helped me get my weight to a balanced place I wanted it to be.)

It was easy to setup. The console captures meaningful data points. I love that it tracks my steps! The only thing I wish could be changed is the volume of the "beep" from the button presses. (Though I do totally understand the desire for it being as audible as it is for safety reasons.)

I gab at everyone who asks and laud proudly about how wonderful this treadmill is - and how superior it is to cheaper options available through Amazon! The cost is higher, but the investment in my health is so worth it. As other reviewers note, you truly get what you pay for, and the increased cost compared to the cheap options is WORTH it.

Worth it!!

I work at home and wanted a treadmill that would let me walk for at least 2-3 hours. I tried a cheaper treadmill and it broke after less than 3 months of use. This one is night and day compared to the cheap one. The cheap one's belt would slow down when you stepped on it, and it struggled at low speeds, but this Lifespan one just chugs along like it's nothing, even from a dead stop.

The software is actually properly thought-out, too. The Lifespan lets me pause my time for a while, and it actually tracks time and steps in a way that makes sense. The cheap one only tracked time in mm:ss format, and it didn't even change to hours once you got past 59 minutes, so it would overflow and shut itself off once you went past 99 minutes. Very annoying and dangerous to have it stop when you're not expecting it, it ruined my focus entirely.

This is definitely an item where you get what you pay for. I wish I'd just bought this one from the beginning.
