Loving it so far

I have had the treadmill for about two weeks. It is working very well. Every time I have used it it’s been for about four (4) hours. The treadmill stops at 99m99s. At that point, I go on the LifeSpan app on my phone which has been tracking my progress up until that point and I press end & sync. And my workout is saved. Then if I want to continue walking in that moment I press start again using the remote or I may use the app to disconnect, connect again, and start my new workout. Then when I want to stop again I us either the remote control of the app. You want to make sure before you hit end & sync on the lab that you look at what the treadmill’s display shows for distance and calories because one time it didn’t sync correctly. Another thing I do is put my iWatch around my ankle (touching my skin/not over my socks) and I set the workout for indoor walk and I use that as a backup to track my progress.

I was advised by customer service that this treadmill is safe to be used for 6-8 hours each day. You have to plug in the treadmill on a three-hole regular socket. You may get shocked; I do at times and my husband brought an electrician to make sure that my electric outlet was properly grounded (without the use of a GFI outlet). Everything looks good with my outlet and the conclusion Indy case was that it’s was normal static shock. I find that if I am using it while working (and for this you should have a sit-to-stand desk) I just need to leave my hands and fingers in contact with the laptop the majority of the time to avoid getting shocked. Also, I believe if the laptop is not plugged in to a socket then I don’t get shocked (or hardly ever).

Hardware great, software needs work

I've had the TX6 for several months now. The treadmill itself is good. Controls work quickly by remote, the treadmill mostly rolls smoothly without excess belt noise or vibration. Only occasionally do I get some typical treadmill whirring or rubbing sound. Few things of note, the belt says it's maintenance free on most of the accompanying documentation. There's also note in the manual of belt oil being included (it was not). So I'm not sure if lubricating the belt is required.

As far as the software, the iOS app I find unuseable. The treadmill is supposed to be able to connect over Bluetooth, but the iOS app version 2.0.3 has no bluetooth connectivity to this model yet.

Another thing to note is the treadmill will shut off automatically around 99 minutes. I'm not sure if this is an overload requirement or if it can be modified, but mine always shuts off at this time. Maybe I should read the manual.
